The Discovery of Genomic Signatures’ Determinants

A genomic signature can be roughly defined as a quantity or a group of quantities, calculated from a DNA sequence, that varies less significantly within a genome than between genomes of different species. The existence of genomic signatures is an amazing phenomenon and shows as yet unexplained biological regularities. The following are some examples of genomic signatures:

I collaborated with Dr. Lila Kari, Dr. Shiva Singh, Dr. Kathleen Hill and solved the mystery of the regularities by pointing out the determinants of the genomic signatures [31][32].
